| Homer Laughlin |
 |
| Homer Laughlin opened its doors in 1874 along the banks of the Ohio River. Over the years the company has had several very popular lines (Viginia Rose, Fiestaware) and numerous fabulous mid-century patterns, lines, and shapes (Epicure, Orbit, Skytone, Jubilee, Dura-Print, Capri). Frederick Hurton Rhead created their most widely collected line (Fiestaware of course!) and the marvelously pointy Harlequin. Don Shrekengost brought them sleek modern shapes like Jubilee and Triumph. And if that weren't enough, Homer Laughlin also has their 'Best China' line- restaurant ware that can handle dishwashers and everyday use. Yes, you can have your vintage dishes and a nice manicure too! |
